Worship at Christ Presbyterian Church seeks to engage heart, mind, and soul in an encounter with the living God, in the company of fellow pilgrims on the journey of faith. Whatever your story may be, whatever questions you bring, you’ll find a home at CPC!
Two Sunday services are offered each week. The 9:00 service features contemporary music, while the 11:00 service tends to the traditional. Both seek to address the timeless truths of our faith to the chaotic times in which we live. Both celebrate the gift of life God has given us, and our calling to as God’s people to make a difference in the world, for truly we are “blessed to be a blessing (Genesis 12:3).
Nursery care for infants and toddlers is offered during both services by our longtime nursery caregiver.
Sunday School for preschool through adults is offered between the two worship services at 10:10. Class topics and locations are listed in the bulletin.
Special opportunities for worship are offered at Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and during Holy Week on Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Day. The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper (communion) is offered the first Sunday of each month, and all who trust in Christ are welcome at the Lord’s Table.
9:00 a.m. Contemporary Worship
This dynamic worship experience centers on the grace of God that meets us in scripture, prayer, and song. Led by our gifted band and praise singers, worship is informal and engaging in style and includes a children’s message and quiet time for prayer.
11:00 a.m. Traditional Worship
This spirited service combines the beauty and dignity of traditional worship with a reverent informality. Energy and celebration enliven our connection with past generations of believers in a worship time that includes a children’s message and a choir that sings in a variety of styles.
