Pastor Greg Bostrom, Pastor

Pastor Greg arrived at CPC in December 2014 after serving Wildwood Presbyterian Church in Grayslake Illinois for 23 years as co-pastor with his wife Kathy.  She has now retired from active pastoral ministry to focus on her other career as an author, leaving the preaching to Greg.  Their three children, Chris, Amy & David live in Los Angeles, each pursuing a career in the movie business.

Greg grew up in the Midwest, attending high school in Wheaton, IL.  He is a graduate of the University of Illinois (economics), Princeton Seminary (New Jersey) and McCormick Seminary (Chicago), where he received his Doctor of Ministry degree in 1998.  Greg plays a lot of soccer and a little basketball, enjoys the great outdoors, follows baseball and college hoops (the Fighting Illini, of course) and loves watching kids grow up--his own and everyone else's.  In another life he might have been a whitewater rafting guide or high school basketball coach, but most of the time he wouldn't trade professions with anyone.

Kathy is an award winning author for children and adults.  Her published works include: What is God Like?, Who is Jesus?, The Snake in the Grass, Josie's Gift and Finding Calm in the Chaos: Christian Devotions for Busy Women. Kathy has written more than 40 books that can be found on-line and in bookstores. (

Greg considers it a privilege to be part of a church that offers a place to find a home in Christ, build a life in him and make a difference in the world.

Barbara Radi: Preschool Director

Barbara came to Christ Presbyterian Preschool at the beginning of 2007. Being a true Southern California native, she has grown up, attended schools, and worked in a 100 mile radius. She received her BA from Cal State University Long Beach in Child and Family Studies and later received a MA in Counseling Psychology from Trinity College of Graduate Studies. Although she has worked with varying age groups in different capacities, preschool aged children just have a special place in her heart.
